How Fintrics uses cookies and similar technologies.

This page explains the main categories of cookies used across the site, what they do, and how you can manage them in your browser.

What this page should clarify

The practical questions are simple: which cookies support the service, which ones support analytics or preferences, and what control users have over them through browser settings.

Cookies in practice

Cookies are used to support account access, preferences, and basic understanding of site usage. This page is meant to make those roles clearer, not bury them in legal language.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember settings, maintain sessions, and understand how the site is being used.

How we use cookies

  • Authentication and session management
  • Remembering your preferences and settings
  • Analyzing website traffic and usage patterns
  • Improving site performance and user experience

Third-party cookies

Fintrics may use third-party services that set or rely on their own cookies, including analytics, payments, and authentication providers.

  • Google Analytics: website analytics and usage tracking
  • Stripe: payment processing
  • Supabase: authentication and database services

You can review their privacy materials here: Google, Stripe, and Supabase.

Managing cookies

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies. You can usually block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, or clear cookies when the browser closes.

Blocking essential cookies may prevent core features from working, including account sign-in and session persistence.

For analytics opt-out, you can use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Additional browser-based opt-out tools may also be available through industry resources such as YourAdChoices and NAI.

Do Not Track

Some browsers include a Do Not Track feature. There is currently no universal standard for responding to these signals, and Fintrics does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

Updates to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements, operational needs, or site practices. Material updates will be reflected by changing the last-updated date on this page.
